Granite from some areas of the world is highly prized than granite stone from other areas and the price of the granite will reflect the area from where the granite was mined.

The last thing considered to have an affect on the granite pricing is the pattern, texture and colour of the granite stone. More colourful, more brighter and more brilliant flecks a granite type contains within it, the more expensive it is than the granite that is dull and monotonous. Some granite types like pink, black or white which are quite rare to be found in nature are more expensive because they are hardest to be found.
